About:
Hold Your Horse Is are a three piece from Surrey/Sussex/Hampshire who take a heavy influence from 90's American Indie and 00's British Post-Hardcore. Their unusual name is taken from the title of a seminal album by 2 piece Californian noise merchants Hella; whom they don't sound much like. Having only completed their line up in 2008, they have been: played on Radio 1 by Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens, played on 6 Music by Tom Robinson, picked up ex-Reuben bassist Jon Pearce as manager, put out three releases and played shows all over the country, sharing stages with a huge range of bands such as Micachu & The Shapes, Baddies, To The Bones, Tubelord, Blakfish, Brontide, Dive Dive, Spectrum 7, Chickenhawk, Outcry Collective, Shield Your Eyes and Silent Front. They hope to one day organise a 'horse band only' tour featuring the likes of Pulled Apart by Horses, Caution Horses and Falenizza Horsepower.
